Project Overview Located in the industrial district of Erenler, Sakarya, this 303.02 kWp rooftop facility powers a heavy metal manufacturing plant. The project stands as a prime example of industrial sustainability, utilizing a pitched roof mounting system to host 556 high-performance PV modules, directly supplying the facility’s intensive energy demands during peak operational hours.

The Challenge The primary challenge was to offset the substantial electricity consumption typical of metal processing industries. The engineering required a system design that maximizes power density on the available roof space to cope with high daytime loads, while ensuring the installation strictly adheres to the static load-bearing capacities of the industrial roof.

The Solution Solarexen executed a high-efficiency Turnkey EPC solution utilizing next-generation 545 Wp photovoltaic panels. By installing 556 units of these high-wattage modules, we maximized the energy yield per square meter. The system is managed by a decentralized architecture of 6 units of 50 kW inverters, ensuring a stable 300 kWe AC output that integrates seamlessly with the facility’s heavy-duty electrical infrastructure.

Key Impact This installation allows the manufacturing plant to transition towards a “Green Production” model by significantly reducing its reliance on the grid. It lowers operational energy costs and cuts down the facility’s carbon footprint, proving that heavy industry can effectively adopt renewable energy solutions without compromising productivity.
