  • Niğde, Türkiye – 4.8 MWp Solar Power Plant

Project Overview Commissioned in November 2020 in Niğde, a region with exceptional solar irradiance, this 4.8 MWp utility-scale facility comprises four synchronized blocks (4 x 1 MWe). Utilizing a seasonal tilt mounting system to optimize capture rates, the plant integrates 15,104 high-efficiency PV modules with 32 inverters, representing a significant contribution to the national renewable energy infrastructure.

The Challenge The primary challenge involved the synchronized deployment and grid integration of a multi-block system within a specific timeframe while ensuring maximum specific yield. Managing the logistical complexity of a large-scale installation (over 15,000 panels) and optimizing the plant design for Niğde’s specific climatic variables required precise engineering and advanced planning.

The Solution Solarexen executed a comprehensive Turnkey EPC strategy, implementing a seasonal variable-tilt mounting structure to adapt to solar angles throughout the year, maximizing generation beyond fixed-tilt limits. We engineered the robust integration of 32 units of 125 kW inverters, ensuring stable grid injection and superior conversion efficiency through rigorous electrical engineering.

Key Impact Delivering an impressive 7,739,000 kWh annually, the facility secures energy supply for a population of tens of thousands. Environmentally, it offsets 3,578.51 tons of carbon emissions per year—equivalent to the ecological benefit of 10,736 trees—demonstrating the tangible ROI of sustainable engineering.
