Project Overview

Located in the heart of Turkey’s solar hub, Cihanbeyli, this 1.2 MWp land-based power plant was commissioned in March 2020. Utilizing a seasonal tilt mounting system to maximize irradiance capture, the facility integrates 3,776 high-efficiency PV modules with advanced inverter technology, delivering clean energy directly to the national grid.

The Challenge

The primary objective was to optimize energy yield in a region with high solar potential but varying seasonal angles. The challenge lay in engineering a system that could maintain peak performance throughout the year while ensuring rapid deployment and long-term durability against central Anatolia’s distinct climatic conditions.

The Solution

Solarexen applied a data-driven Turnkey EPC approach, selecting a seasonal variable-tilt mounting structure to significantly boost production efficiency compared to fixed systems. We engineered the integration of 8 units of 125 kW inverters for stable AC conversion, ensuring the 1 MWe output is seamlessly managed under strict technical compliance.

Key Impact

The plant generates approximately 1,924,000 kWh annually, preventing 889.66 tons of CO2 emissions each year—equivalent to saving 2,669 trees. This project stands as a benchmark for efficient mid-scale solar investments, proving our commitment to high-performance engineering.
