Project Overview Located in Beylikdüzü, one of Istanbul’s key industrial hubs, this 92.7 kWp rooftop facility marks a significant step towards self-sufficient energy management. Designed on a self-consumption model, the project integrates 206 high-efficiency PV modules onto an existing pitched roof structure, directly powering the facility’s operations and reducing grid dependency.
The Challenge The primary objective was to transition an active industrial facility to renewable energy without disrupting daily operations. The challenge lay in optimizing the layout of high-power (450 Wp) panels on a specific pitched roof profile to ensure maximum irradiance capture while strictly adhering to static load limits and safety regulations.
The Solution Solarexen implemented a robust Turnkey EPC solution tailored for industrial pitched roofs. We utilized 206 units of 450 Wp panels to maximize power density per square meter. The system’s energy conversion is managed by a single, high-capacity 100 kW central inverter, ensuring efficient management of the 80 kWe AC output and seamless synchronization with the factory’s internal grid.
Key Impact The system is projected to generate approximately 111,000 kWh annually, significantly lowering operational energy costs. Environmentally, it prevents 51.5 tons of CO2 emissions per year—equivalent to the ecological contribution of 155 trees—demonstrating a clear return on investment through both economic savings and sustainability.
