Project Overview Situated in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, this 576 kWp rooftop solar facility serves a major industrial manufacturing plant specializing in formwork and scaffolding systems. Designed to offset high industrial energy consumption, the project integrates 1,440 high-efficiency PV modules (400 Wp) on a pitched roof structure, converting solar irradiance directly into operational power.

The Challenge The core challenge was to retrofit a renewable energy system onto an active heavy-industry facility. The engineering required a design that not only adhered to the structural load limits of the pitched roof but also synchronized perfectly with the facility’s high-demand internal grid to maximize self-consumption without fluctuating power quality.

The Solution Solarexen delivered a precision-engineered Turnkey EPC solution. We deployed 1,440 units of 400 Wp photovoltaic panels, optimized for the roof’s specific inclination. The system utilizes a decentralized inverter configuration with 5 units of 100 kW inverters, ensuring robust AC conversion (500 kWe) and high system availability for continuous industrial operations.

Key Impact This installation transforms the facility’s energy profile, providing a substantial reduction in operational energy costs.
