Project Overview Commissioned in November 2019 in Burdur’s Yeşilova district, this utility-scale 6 MWp facility exemplifies sustainable regional development. Designed as five synchronized generation blocks (5 x 1 MWe), the plant leverages a seasonal tilt mounting system to harness the area’s high solar potential, integrating 18,880 PV modules to deliver stable, clean energy to the national grid.
The Challenge The project required the efficient deployment of a multi-megawatt capacity across a specific terrain. The primary engineering challenge was to maximize the specific yield in a region with distinct seasonal irradiation shifts, while ensuring the seamless synchronization of five separate sub-fields into the medium-voltage grid without transmission bottlenecks.
The Solution Solarexen applied a data-driven Turnkey EPC strategy, utilizing a seasonal variable-tilt mounting structure. This design allows for the optimization of panel angles throughout the year, significantly boosting production compared to static systems. We engineered the integration of 40 units of 125 kW inverters, ensuring robust power conversion and high system availability across all five blocks.
Key Impact Generating an impressive average of 9,479,000 kWh annually, the plant serves as a major energy pillar for the region. Environmentally, it prevents 4,383.09 tons of CO2 emissions per year—equivalent to the ecological contribution of 13,149 trees—demonstrating the high return on investment driven by superior engineering.
